To amend an Act to create an amended charter for the Town of Willacoochee, in the County of Atkinson, and to reincorporate said town as a city, and define its territorial limits, approved December 22, 1953 (Ga. L. 1953, Nov.-Dec. Sess., p. 3039), as amended, so as to deannex certain property from the corporate limits; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:

An Act to create an amended charter for the Town of Willacoochee, in the County of Atkinson, and to reincorporate said town as a city, and define its territorial limits, approved December 22, 1953 (Ga. L. 1953, Nov.-Dec. Sess., p. 3039), as amended, is amended by designating the existing matter contained in Section 102 as subsection (a) and adding a new subsection (b) to read as follows:

"(b) On and after the effective date of this subsection, the corporate limits of the City of Willacoochee shall not contain the following described territory:

All that tract or parcel of land being particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of Land Lots 524 and 525 of the 5th Land District and Land Lots 18 and 19 of the 10th Land District; thence north 00 degrees 51 minutes 51 seconds east a distance of 829.49 feet to a point; thence south 88 degrees 58 minutes 17 seconds east a distance of 21.94 feet to a point; thence north 01 degrees 04 minutes 33 seconds east a distance of 682.09 feet to a point at the NW corner; thence south 88 degrees 56 minutes 14 seconds east a distance of 2,034.86 feet to a point along the west side of the old Georgia-Florida Railroad; thence south 18 degrees 03 minutes 40 seconds east a distance of 2,300.00 feet along said railroad to a point; thence south 71 degrees 56 minutes 20 seconds west a distance of 2,982.19 feet to a point along the land lot line dividing Land Lots 18 and 19 of the 10th Land District; thence north 01 degrees 24 minutes 59 seconds east a distance of 1,628.52 feet along said land lot line to the point of beginning.

All that tract or parcel of land being particularly described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of Land Lots 524 and 525 of the 5th Land District and Land Lots 18 and 19 of the 10th Land District; thence north 89 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds east a distance of 2,656.07 to a point on the east side of the old Georgia-Florida Railroad and the point of beginning; thence north 18 degrees 03 minutes 40 seconds west a distance of 2,700.75 feet along the east side of the old Georgia-Florida Railroad to a point at the NW corner; thence north 71 degrees 59 minutes 04 seconds east a distance of 900.62 feet to a point on the west side of Spring-Head Road; thence south 18 degrees 01 minutes 30 seconds east a distance of 3,126.19 feet to a point at the SE corner; thence north 71 degrees 56 minutes 20 seconds east a distance of 898.64 feet to a point on the east side of the old Georgia-Florida Railroad; thence north 18 degrees 02 minutes 40 seconds west a distance of 426.16 feet to the point of beginning."
