Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 6 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to uniform rules of the road, so as to prohibit the use of a stand-alone electronic device or wireless telecommunications device by persons under 18 years of age while operating a motor vehicle; to provide for penalties; to remove a process for being found not guilty of a violation in certain instances; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
