Summary

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 7 of Title 31 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to regulation and construction of hospitals and other health care facilities, so as to require the development of quality assurance standards for health care facilities; to provide a definition; to provide for the requirement for a care delivery model based on patient needs for health care facilities; to provide a duty to report quality of care and safety problems; to provide an identification requirement for persons dealing with patients in health care facilities; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
