Summary
A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Subpart 7 of Part 3 of Article 7 of Chapter 3 of Title 20 of the O.C.G.A., relating to grants to children of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and prison guards; to amend Part 1 of Article 5 of Chapter 9 of Title 45 of the O.C.G.A., relating to the Georgia State Indemnification Fund; so as to provide that certain federal law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty while performing law enforcement services within this state may apply for indemnification under the Georgia State Indemnification Fund consistent with Article III, Section VI, Paragraph VI(e)(1) of the Georgia Constitution; to provide for related matters; to provide for a short title; to provide for applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
