Summary

Directs the Division of Administrative Hearings to appoint an administrative law judge to determine a basis for equitable relief for the purpose of compensating Mr. Pitts for any wrongful act or omission by the State of Florida or officials thereof. Requires a report to the Legislature. Authorizes compensation upon a determination by the administrative law judge. Provides an appropriation to compensate Mr. Pitts for injuries and damages sustained. Provides a limitation on the payment of fees and costs, etc. CLAIM WITH APPROPRIATION:
