       Senator Polsky moved the following:
       
    1         Senate Amendment to House Amendment (942955) (with title
    2  amendment)
    3  
    4         Between lines 68 and 69
    5  insert:
    6         (6)The prohibition in subsection (2) does not apply to a
    7  candidate who violates a social media platform’s policy against
    8  domestic abuse or stalking, and a social media platform may
    9  knowingly deplatform such a candidate.

   12  And the title is amended as follows:
   13         Delete lines 557 - 561
   14  and insert:
   15         Delete lines 2-9 and insert:
   16         An act relating to social media platforms; providing
   17         legislative findings; creating s. 106.072, F.S.;
   18         defining terms; prohibiting a social media platform
   19         from willfully deplatforming a candidate; providing
   20         fines for violations; authorizing social media
   21         platforms to provide free advertising for candidates
   22         under specified conditions; providing enforcement
   23         authority consistent with federal and state law;
   24         providing an exception; creating s. 287.137, F.S.;
   25         defining terms;
