150th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 2

PROVIDING FOR A JOINT SESSION OF THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO BE CONVENED FOR THE PURPOSE OF HEARING AN ADDRESS BY THE HONORABLE JOHN C. CARNEY, JR., GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.

WHEREAS, under Article III, § 15 of the Delaware Constitution, the Governor “shall, from time to time, give to the General Assembly information of affairs concerning the State and recommend to its consideration such measures as he or she shall judge expedient.”

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the 150 ^th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the Senate and the House of Representatives meet in Joint Session in the Senate Chamber on Thursday, January, 17, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be convenient, for the purpose of hearing an address by the Honorable John C. Carney, Jr., Governor of the State of Delaware.

SYNOPSIS

This Concurrent Resolution provides for a Joint Session of the Senate and the House of Representatives to be convened for the purpose of hearing an address by the Honorable John C. Carney, Jr., Governor of the State of Delaware.
