146th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 1

PROVIDING FOR A JOINT SESSION OF THE SENATE AND THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES TO BE CONVENED FOR THE PURPOSE OF HEARING AN ADDRESS BY THE HONORABLE JACK A. MARKELL, GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE.



WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article III, Section 15 of the Constitution of the State of Delaware, the Governor shall, from time to time, give to the General Assembly information of affairs concerning the State and recommend to its consideration such measures as he or she shall judge expedient;

NOW, THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the 146th General Assembly of the State of Delaware, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the Senate and the House of Representatives meet in Joint Session in the Senate Chamber on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be convenient, for the purpose of hearing the address by the Honorable Jack A. Markell, Governor of the State of Delaware.


SYNOPSIS

This Concurrent Resolution provides for a Joint Session of the Senate and the House of Representatives to be convened for the purpose of hearing an address by the Honorable Jack A. Markell, Governor of the State of Delaware.
