DELAWARE STATE SENATE

148th GENERAL ASSEMBLY

SENATE BILL NO. 189

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 26 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:

Section 1.Amend §221 of Title 26 of the Delaware Code by making deletions as shown by strike through and insertions as shown by underline as follows:

§221. Telecommunications Relay Service Advisory Committee.

(b)The Telecommunications Relay Service Advisory Committee shall be composed of 11 the following members:

(3)The 911 Administrator or a designee from the 911 Advisory Board for the State of Delaware;

(6)One representative from the Council on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Equality State Council for Persons with Disabilities;

(7)One representative from the Delaware Association of the Deaf; Delaware Assistive Technology Initiative;

Additional members may be recommended by members of the Committee and approved by Committee

vote.

SYNOPSIS

This Bill is a result of recommendations made by the Joint Sunset Committee.
