SENATE BILL NO. 176

AN ACT TO AMEND TITLE 16 OF THE DELAWARE CODE RELATING TO UNIFORMED CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES.


BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE:


Section 1. Amend §4797(a), Title 16 of the Delaware Code, by deleting the date "October 1, 2009" and inserting in lieu thereof the date, "October 1, 2010".


SYNOPSIS

This Bill extends the deadline for the Universal Tamper-Resistant Prescription Pad Committee to establish a statewide tamper-resistant prescription form with specific criteria to eliminate or significantly reduce prescription fraud.
