Summary

This bill promotes public safety by authorizing wireless service providers to give call location information concerning the telephone of a wireless service customer to a requesting law-enforcement agency or public safety answering point. The request may only be made for purposes of responding to a call for emergency services or in an emergency situation that involves the risk of death or serious physical harm.
