Summary
As introduced Bill 25-139 would require local education agencies (LEAs) to notify families of students with disabilities when a staff transition occurs and when specialized instruction is suspended. It creates a standardized process for when student injuries occur and mandates that all schools install carbon monoxide detectors. LEAs are also required to provide annual eye and dental exams for all students.
