Summary

bill summary - As introduced Bill 25-137 would repeal outdated statutory language and address amendments to fees and exemptions from the certificate of title. It addresses when suspensions may be stayed. It updates the penalty for failure to timely have a motor vehicle pass inspection. Among other things, it clarifies liability for a parking violation, simplifies and updates eligibility for membership on the Traffic Adjudication Appeals Board, and adds several motor vehicles to the list of vehicles which require a registration fee by the vehicle owner.
