Summary

As introduced, this bill allows representatives of individuals under sixteen years of age, and representatives who are appointed legal guardian or conservator, to request a credit security freeze on their behalf. It establishes that a consumer shall not be charged for credit freeze services. It also establishes under what conditions a credit reporting agency shall place, lift, or remove a security freeze on any protected consumer's credit report.
