Summary
Establishes a Student Loan Ombudsman within the Department of Insurance, Securities, and Banking, appointed by the Commissioner. The Ombudsman is required to compile and analyze data on student loan borrower complaints and complete an annual report. Among other things the Ombudsman must also provide information to the public, District agencies, and the Council regarding the concerns of student loan borrowers and make recommendations for resolving those concerns.
