AN ACT CONCERNING TRAINING IN CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-16b of the general statutes be amended to (1) require training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation be included in the program of instruction at public high schools, and (2) allow local and regional boards of education to accept gifts, grants and donations to purchase materials for such training.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the number of people in the state who are trained in the life-saving methods of CPR.
