AN ACT CONCERNING A TAX CREDIT FOR CERTAIN INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP LONG-TERM CARE INSURANCE POLICIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 12 of the general statutes be amended to create a tax credit for any person or company doing business in the state that purchases an individual or group long-term care policy, as defined in sections 38a-501 and 38a-528 of the general statutes, respectively, that provides benefits for confinement in the insured's own home.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide incentives for long-term care policies that provide benefits for confinement in the insured's own home.
