AN ACT ESTABLISHING A REGIONAL ANIMAL CONTROL FACILITY AT THE CORRIGAN-RADGOWSKI CORRECTIONAL CENTER IN UNCASVILLE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a regional animal control facility at the Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center in Uncasville that enables inmates to utilize their construction skills, when appropriate, to build the facility and establishes a program for inmates to care for the animals at such facility.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a regional animal control facility at the Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center where inmates may participate in the construction of such facility, when appropriate, and the care of animals housed at such facility.
