AN ACT CLARIFYING PROVISIONS OF THE GENERAL STATUTES CONCERNING RUNNING BAMBOO.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 22a-381 of the general statutes be clarified to provide that running bamboo may not be planted within forty feet of a neighboring property regardless of whether it is contained by a properly installed barrier system.

Statement of Purpose:

To clarify restrictions concerning the buffer zone for the planting of running bamboo.
