AN ACT CONCERNING CANCELLED DOCTORS' APPOINTMENTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective January 1, 2011) No physician or medical practice shall charge a patient a fee for a missed appointment unless such physician or medical practice has posted notice of such fee in a conspicuous location in such physician's or medical practice's office or patient waiting area.
