AN ACT ESTABLISHING TEMPERATURE STANDARDS FOR NONPROFIT ANIMAL RESCUE SHELTERS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to require nonprofit animal rescue shelters to maintain temperatures in such facilities that are identical to those temperatures required of pet stores, commercial kennels and municipal or regional dog pounds.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish temperature standards for nonprofit animal rescue shelters.
