AN ACT CONCERNING COMMUNITY BENEFITS PLANS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 19a of the general statutes be amended to require a hospital to include in its community benefits plan measures to address social determinants of health.

Statement of Purpose:

To improve the health of residents who are affected by managed care organizations and hospitals that participate in a community benefits program.
