AN ACT REQUIRING AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANIES TO PROVIDE A CHOICE OF PAYMENT FOR REFUNDS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 38a of the general statutes be amended to require automobile insurance companies to provide insureds the choice of a policy credit or a refund check when an insured removes an automobile from an automobile insurance policy and has other automobiles covered by such policy.

Statement of Purpose:

To require automobile insurance companies to provide insureds the choice of a policy credit or a refund check when an insured removes an automobile from an automobile insurance policy and has other automobiles covered by such policy.
