AN ACT CONCERNING CAMPAIGN FINANCE REFORM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapters 155 and 157 of the general statutes be amended to improve transparency of elections by providing for increased disclosure by those corporations and other entities making independent expenditures in support of, or opposition to, candidates for public office following the United States Supreme Court's decision in Citizens United.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide for greater transparency of elections by increasing disclosure requirements for corporations and other entities in the wake of the United States Supreme Court's decision in Citizens United.
