RESOLUTION PROPOSING A STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ALLOWING FOR NO-EXCUSE ABSENTEE VOTING.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That article sixth of the Constitution of the state be amended to allow any qualified elector to, regardless of reason, cast an absentee ballot instead of appearing at a polling place on the day of an election.
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate the requirement that an elector satisfy a particular reason, specified by law, in order to cast an absentee ballot.
