RESOLUTION PROPOSING AN AMENDMENT TO THE STATE CONSTITUTION PROVIDING FOR NO-EXCUSE ABSENTEE VOTING.
Resolved by this Assembly:
That Article sixth of the Constitution of the state of Connecticut be amended to allow any qualified elector to, regardless of reason, cast an absentee ballot instead of appearing at a polling place on the day of an election.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit electors to cast absentee ballots without having to satisfy a reason, specified in law, for doing so.
