AN ACT CONCERNING A STUDY OF RECOVERY HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Department of Education shall conduct a study of recovery high school programs for students recovering from substance abuse or dependence. The study shall include a survey of recovery high school programs in other states and recommendations regarding the implementation of recovery high school programs in the state. Not later than January 1, 2016, the department shall submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to education, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections: | ||
