AN ACT DIRECTING THE PROVISION OF SPECIFIC IN-SERVICE TRAINING TO CERTAIN SCHOOL PERSONNEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-220a of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to direct specific in-service training to the school personnel in which such training is directly related to the responsibilities of such school personnel.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide mandate relief by giving school districts the ability to choose the appropriate training for each school employee so as to avoid unnecessary time and cost on training unrelated the such employee's position.
