AN ACT CONCERNING THE REVISION OF THE ALLIANCE DISTRICT, PRIORITY AND TRANSITIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-262u of the general statutes be amended to phase out the existing alliance district grant program and replace it with a new alliance district grant program that reallocates ten million dollars of such grant to the twenty-five lowest performing school districts through a new priority and transitional school districts formula.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a new, streamlined and financially affordable alliance district grant program.
