AN ACT DIRECTING A PORTION OF HOTEL TAX REVENUE TO TOURISM DISTRICTS.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to require that three per cent of the revenue collected from the hotel tax be directed to the regional tourism districts, established pursuant to section 10-397 of the general statutes.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide funding for regional tourism districts.
