AN ACT CONCERNING EXPOSURE OF CHILDREN TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the general statutes be amended to enhance the penalty for second and subsequent offenses of domestic violence crimes committed in the presence of children.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect children from the harmful effects that result from exposure to domestic violence.
