AN ACT CONCERNING THE STABILITY OF TUITION FOR FOUR-YEAR PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That title 10a of the general statutes be amended to guarantee a fixed tuition rate during the period in which a full-time student is attending a four-year public institution of higher education in the state.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide stability to students and their families in planning for the cost of higher education.
