AN ACT INCREASING THE MINIMUM FAIR WAGE.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That section 31-58 of the general statutes be amended to increase the minimum fair wage to eleven dollars per hour, effective January 1, 2018, to twelve dollars per hour, effective January 1, 2019, to thirteen dollars per hour, effective January 1, 2020, to fourteen dollars per hour, effective January 1, 2021, and to fifteen dollars per hour, effective January 1, 2022.

Statement of Purpose:

To establish a minimum wage of fifteen dollars per hour in the State of Connecticut.
