AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF MERGING THE CONSERVATION FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND THE STATE HISTORIC COMMISSION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to study the feasibility of merging the conservation functions of the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection with the Department of Agriculture and the State Historic Commission.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide adequate services to users of such agencies while consolidating for the purpose of financial savings.
