AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE CARRYING OF HANDGUNS IN STATE PARKS AND FORESTS FOR PURPOSES OF SELF-DEFENSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize any person with a valid permit to carry a pistol or revolver to carry a handgun in state parks and forests for the purpose of self-defense.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow people to carry handguns in state parks and forests for self-defense.
