AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STUDY REMOVABLE WINDSHIELD PLACARDS FOR PERSONS WHO ARE BLIND AND PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

To establish a task force that shall: (1) Compile specific and accurate information regarding the criteria used by a physician to determine if an applicant who is applying for a removable windshield placard is disabled, (2) determine effective ways to educate and advise physicians on such criteria, and (3) submit a report that includes its findings and recommendations for legislation regarding the eligibility requirements for such placards to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to transportation.

To study the eligibility requirements for a removable windshield placard.
