AN ACT REQUIRING MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS TO PROVIDE NEW PATIENTS WITH A PSYCHOTHERAPY INFORMATION DISCLOSURE STATEMENT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to require every mental health professional to provide each new patient with a psychotherapy information disclosure statement.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide greater clarity and accountability to patients contemplating mental health treatment.
