AN ACT CONCERNING COMPENSATION FOR HOSPITALS' CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 368v of the general statutes be amended to require the board of directors or trustees of a hospital that receives funds from the state to consider the hospital's patient care and health outcomes when setting compensation for the hospital's chief executive officer.
Statement of Purpose:
To require hospitals' boards of directors and trustees to focus on patient care and health outcomes when setting compensation for chief executive officers.
