AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR CHAPEL HAVEN IN NEW HAVEN.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate six hundred fifty thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Department of Developmental Services for the purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to Chapel Haven in New Haven for building rehabilitation.

Statement of Purpose:

To provide funding to Chapel Haven in New Haven, which is a private nonprofit organization supporting independent living for adults with certain developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, in order to fund building rehabilitation.
