AN ACT CONCERNING THE MUNICIPAL IMPACT OF A PROPOSED CASINO GAMING FACILITY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That special act 15-7 be amended to require that, prior to a tribal business entity establishing a proposed casino gaming facility in the state, the municipality where such facility is to be located shall examine the economic and social impact of casino gambling on residents and businesses in the municipality and the surrounding municipalities and post the findings of such examination on the Internet web site of the municipality.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a municipality where a proposed casino gaming facility may be located to examine the economic and social impact of casino gambling on the municipality and surrounding municipalities and post the findings of such examination.
