AN ACT PROHIBITING THE USE OF ELECTRONIC BENEFIT TRANSFER CARDS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of electronic benefit transfer cards issued in Connecticut outside the United States.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit improper use of electronic benefit transfer cards outside the United States.
