AN ACT CONCERNING COSTS RELATED TO FEES PAID BY PUBLIC UTILITIES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2018) Notwithstanding any other provision of the general statutes, a public utility that pays a fee to any association may not recover the cost of such fee from such public utility's ratepayers.

This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
Section 1	October 1, 2018	New section

Statement of Purpose:

To prohibit public utilities from recovering costs of association fees from ratepayers.
