AN ACT CONCERNING DISBURSEMENTS FROM THE TOBACCO SETTLEMENT FUND TO BENEFIT HEALTH PROGRAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 4-28e of the general statutes be amended to require, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, ten per cent of the amounts on deposit in the Tobacco Settlement Fund be used for the purpose of increasing funding for health programs and, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2016, consideration shall be given as to whether said percentage shall be increased.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the amount of funds from the Tobacco Settlement Fund that are dedicated to health programs.
