AN ACT EXTENDING THE REPORTING DEADLINE OF THE TASK FORCE TO STUDY VOLUNTARY ADMISSION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. Subsection (f) of section 1 of special act 17-6 is amended to read as follows (Effective from passage):
(f) Not later than [February 1, 2018] January 1, 2019, the task force shall submit a report on its findings and recommendations to the Governor, speaker of the House of Representatives, president pro tempore of the Senate, minority leader of the House of Representatives, minority leader of the Senate and the joint standing committees of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to appropriations, children, education, human services, insurance and public health, in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes. The task force shall provide additional information regarding its findings and recommendations at the request of the Governor or a member of the General Assembly. The task force shall terminate on July 1, [2018] 2019.
