AN ACT CONCERNING THE ISSUANCE OF "BREAST CANCER AWARENESS" COMMEMORATIVE NUMBER PLATES.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 246 of the general statutes be amended to provide that the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles shall issue "Breast Cancer Awareness" commemorative number plates of a design to enhance public awareness of the importance of breast cancer research and that a fee shall be charged for the issuance of such number plates that shall be in addition to the regular fee or fees prescribed for the registration of a motor vehicle and that shall be used to pay the administrative cost of issuing such number plates.

Statement of Purpose:

To enhance public awareness of the importance of breast cancer research.
