AN ACT REDUCING THE APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF AN ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN FOR THE COMMON CORE STATE STANDARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the appropriation to the Department of Education be reduced by the sum of one million dollars, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, that was to be used for the purpose of an advertising campaign promoting the implementation of the common core state standards.
Statement of Purpose:
To cut funding to the advertising budget of the Department of Education that was to be used for the promotion of the implementation of the common core state standards.
