AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF ANY GROWTH IN STATE REVENUE STREAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require that any growth in (1) state gaming revenues, and (2) other state revenue streams be earmarked as a dedicated funding source for municipal programs such as education cost sharing, town aid road and local capital improvement program.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide a long-term funding stream for municipal programs such as education cost sharing, town aid road and local capital improvement program.
