AN ACT CONCERNING THE USE OF GRANTS AWARDED UNDER THE CITIZENS' ELECTION PROGRAM.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

That chapter 157 of the general statutes be amended to require candidates participating in the Citizens' Election Program to spend seventy-five per cent of any grant awarded thereunder on businesses based in Connecticut.

Statement of Purpose:

To support Connecticut businesses.
