AN ACT CONCERNING THE CONTINUATION OF UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION BENEFITS WHILE THE RECIPIENT ATTENDS HIGHER EDUCATION CLASSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 567 of the general statutes be amended to allow eligible individuals to continue to receive unemployment compensation benefits while attending higher education classes to improve their employability.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow eligible individuals to continue to receive unemployment compensation benefits while attempting to improve their marketability through higher education classes.
