AN ACT CONCERNING A BIENNIAL REVIEW OF STATE EDUCATION MANDATES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 163 of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to conduct a biennial review of all state education mandates and make recommendations to the General Assembly regarding which mandates should be repealed.
Statement of Purpose:
To review existing state education mandates and to make recommendations regarding which mandates should be repealed.
